photo by Danny DavisAlthough it seems like the football season just started up yesterday, the playoffs are only a few weeks away.
The usual suspects like Lake Travis and Stony Point have already wrapped up playoff spots but only a handful of teams have been completely eliminated from postseason contention. In fact, with two weeks remaining, 29 area Class 5A and Class 4A teams still have a shot at making the playoffs and many of those team can wrap up a playoff berth with a win on Friday.
After the jump are breakdowns of the Class 5A and 4A districts that involve Central Texas teams. The team’s district record is recorded in parenthesis.
