Here is the weekly fishing report as compiled for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for Sept. 23. (Report also available on Web as http://www.txfishing.com.)
CENTRAL
BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are fair on chartreuse and chartreuse/white Rat-L-Traps over grass. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, nightcrawlers, and punchbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
BELTON: Water clear; 83 degrees; 7.77' low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits near the bank and trolling Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on hot dogs, stinkbait, and shrimp. Yellow catfish are good on live perch and live shad.
BROWNWOOD: Water clear; 84 degrees; 7.02' low. Black bass are excellent on Bass Hogg spinnerbaits and redbug or watermelon Grande Bass 4" Trickster Worms with chartreuse tails on Pig Sticker Shaky Heads near the docks and over brush piles in 2-8 feet, and good on Frog, Torpedo, and Pop-R topwaters on main lake flats and over grass. Hybrid striper are good trolling hellbenders near the Woodsman of the World camp. White bass are good on Li'l Fishies off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on Li'l Fishies and minnows over brush piles in Rattlesnake Draw in 15-21 feet, and off lighted docks at night. Channel catfish to 5 pounds are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers over baited holes in 12-20 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with perch in 12-20 feet.
BUCHANAN: Water clear; 85 degrees; 30.69' low. Black bass are good on daiquiri JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, blue shad flukes, Rat-L-Traps, and wacky rigged watermelon red Whacky Sticks along docks and over flats early. Striped bass are good on Spoiler Shads plastic swim baits and drifting or free lining live bait around Lighthouse Point at first light. White bass are fair but small trolling deep diving Shad Raps and jigging Tiny Traps and 2" plastic swim baits over humps along the river channel. Crappie are fair on pink/white or chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows in clear water. Channel catfish are good on liver, minnows, and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on rod/reel, juglines and trotlines baited with goldfish and perch upriver.
CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 83 degrees; 15.20' low. Black bass are fair to good on JDC Skip-N-Pops, Pop R's, and wacky rigged watermelon red Whacky Sticks along the edges of grass and buck brush, and on Texas rigged blue flake worms and drop shot Devil's Tongues along break lines and ledges. Striped bass are slow to fair trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits over and around humps and jigging 1oz. Pirk Minnows at daylight. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are fair on topwaters, root beer JDC grubs, and craws in 10-30 feet at daylight. Crappie are fair on white or chartreuse crappie jigs and live minnows tight to lay down tree tops and brush upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on trotlines and juglines baited with live goldfish and perch from Cranes Mill Park to the mouth of the river.
COLEMAN: Water clear; 85 degrees; 9.34' low. Black bass are good on chartreuse and chartreuse blue spinnerbaits, soft plastics, and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are fair on silver striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and green tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
COLORADO RIVER: Water fairly clear. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on perch.
FAYETTE: Water clear; 85 degrees. Black bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on cut shad, liver, and shrimp over baited holes under trees.
GRANBURY: Water clear; 2.11' low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/blue and chartreuse/white spinnerbaits and soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on live bait and green striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and liver.
GRANGER: Water murky; 82 degrees; 1.27' low. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits among shallow weeds. White bass are fair on slab spoons and Rat-L-Traps along shallow roadbeds early and late. Crappie are good on chartreuse jigs and minnows in 6-10 feet. Blue catfish are good on shad in newly flooded vegetation. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch and goldfish.
LBJ: Water stained; 84 degrees; 0.26' low. Black bass are good on watermelon Curb's Erratic jigs, watermelon red Whacky Sticks, and pumpkin 4" tubes near docks and laydowns along seawalls and in 10 feet at daylight. Striped bass are good on Creme Lure's 2" Spoiler Shads and 1" Li'l Fishies at night. White bass are fair to good on Li'l Fishies at night. Crappie are good on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles in clear water. Channel catfish are very good on nightcrawlers, liver, and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on trotlines baited with goldfish and perch.
NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 78 degrees; 0.06' high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows off the docks in Liberty Hill Park. Channel catfish are fair on shad. Blue catfish are good on minnows and cut bait below the dam. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.
PROCTOR: Water stained; 85 degrees; 7.61' low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on small minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows. Yellow catfish are fair on shrimp and shad.
SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 85 degrees; 2.99' low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are fair on spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Perch are good on worms. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.
STILLHOUSE: Water stained; 83 degrees; 1.25' low. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows, hot dogs, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.
TRAVIS: Water stained; 83 degrees; 50.93' low. Black bass are good on bone topwaters, watermelon worms, and grubs in 5-15 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on chrome jigging spoons and minnows in 35-42 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and fresh cut bait in 28-45 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
WALTER E. LONG: Water clear; 85 degrees. Black bass are good trolling Storm Thundersticks. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and white and chartreuse tube jigs near the dam. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
WHITNEY: Water stained; 11.90' low. Black bass are fair on watermelon and chartreuse Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics off points. Striped bass are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and punchbait.
NORTHEAST
ATHENS: Water fairly clear, 75-80 degrees; 0.62' low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters early, later switching to spinnerbaits, Texas rigs and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.
BOB SANDLIN: Water fairly clear; 75-79 degrees; 0.09' high. Black bass are good on Ribbits early, later switching to Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and 7" worms on a shaky head jig. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs under the 21 and railroad bridges and over brush piles. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Catfish are good on and prepared bait.
BRIDGEPORT: Water fairly clear; 74-79 degrees; 11.41' low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows over brush piles and around bridge columns. White bass and hybrids are good on Storm WildEyes, Humdingers and topwaters. No reports on hybrid striper.
CADDO: Water off color; 76-81 degrees; 2.17' high. Black bass are fair on flukes, Senkos, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits early, later switching to Texas rigged worms and Sweet Beavers. Crappie are fair on jigs and shiners over brush piles. Bream are slow. Catfish are good on limb lines and trotlines.
CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 76-80 degrees; 0.68' low. Black bass are fair to good on Carolina rigs, jigs and drop shots, with early action on topwaters. White bass are fair early on Humdingers, midday switching to Hellbender with Pet Spoon rigs. Hybrid striper are fair burning large slabs. Crappie are slow on small minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good drifting cut shad and on chartreuse nightcrawlers.
COOPER: Water lightly stained; 74-79 degrees; 1.3' low. Black bass are good on buzzbaits early, later switching to Texas rigs and chartreuse/white chatterbaits. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. White bass are good on Rooster Tails and Humdingers. Hybrid striper are fair to good on Sassy Shad and slabs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
FAIRFIELD: Water fairly clear; 84-93 degrees. No report available.
FORK: Water lightly stained; 75-81 degrees; 0.31' high. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits and Yellow Magics early, midday switching to DD22s, Carolina rigs and 3/4oz. jigs with trailers. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are good on cut shad and nightcrawlers.
GRAPEVINE: Water off color; 75-80 degrees; 2.07' low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and crankbaits near rocky points. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over planted brush piles. White bass are good to excellent all over the lake. Catfish are fair on prepared baits and nightcrawlers.
JOE POOL: Water off color; 76-81 degrees; 1.86' high. Black bass are fair on topwaters early, later switching to jigs and Carolina rigs. Crappie are slow to fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on Humdingers over mid-lake humps. Catfish are fair on cut and prepared baits.
LAKE O' THE PINES: Water stained; 75-81 degrees; 4.4' high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
LAVON: Water stained; 75-80 degrees; 2.51' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and topwaters in the shallows. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are fair on cut shad and prepared baits.
LEWISVILLE: Water off color; 74-80 degrees; 1.74' low. Black bass are fair to good on spinnerbaits, Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and Carolina rigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are good on Humdingers and slabs. Hybrid striper are fair to good on slabs and Sassy Shad. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.
MARTIN CREEK: 2.21' low. No report available.
MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 85-93 degrees; 0.92' high. No report available.
PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 76-81 degrees; 0.87' low. No report available.
RAY HUBBARD: Water fairly clear; 74-79 degrees; 0.04' high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits early, later switching to Texas rigs and medium running pearl crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on topwaters and slabs. Hybrid striper are good on 2oz. slabs. Catfish are good on prepared bait.
RAY ROBERTS: Water lightly stained; 74-78 degrees; 1.25' low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged Yum Sooies and Carolina rigged Ring Fries (slot removed Sept. 1st now a 14" minimum). Crappie are good to excellent on minnows and Road Runners over brush piles and around isolated trees. White bass are good on Torpedoes early, later switching to C.C. jigging spoons and Bomber Slabs. Catfish are good over baited holes in the mouths of creeks.
RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water off color; 75-80 degrees; 2.77' low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters and spinnerbaits early, midday switching to Carolina rigs and drop shot rigs. White bass are fair on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are fair on large slabs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are slow. Catfish are good on prepared baits and cut shad.
TAWAKONI: Water fairly clear; 75-81 degrees; 1.63' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, topwaters and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows in 15 feet. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait. White bass are good on Humdingers and topwaters. Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on live shad.
TEXOMA: Water off color; 74-80 degrees; 0.41' low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits early, midday switching to crankbaits, Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around bridges, in the marinas and over brush piles. Striper bass are fair early on topwaters and Sassy Shad, later switching to slabs and live shad. Catfish are fair on cut shad and nightcrawlers.
WEATHERFORD: Water lightly stained; 75-81 degrees; 4.34' low. No report available.

SOUTH
AMISTAD: Water clear; 81 degrees; 2.28' low. Black bass to 8 pounds are good on jigs, Senkos, and craw worms. Striped bass are good on Rat-L-Traps, slab spoons, topwaters, shad, spooks, and small crankbaits near the 277 bridge. White bass are good on Rat-L-Traps, slab spoons, topwaters, shad, spooks, and small crankbaits near the 277 bridge. Catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
BRAUNIG: Water stained; 85 degrees. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are excellent on liver and shad off points near the pier and at the north end of the park, and down rigging silver and gold spoons near the jetty and dam. Redfish are fair on perch, shad, and silver spoons, and down rigging spoons near the jetty and dam. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam and the discharge. Blue catfish are good on cut bait.
CALAVERAS: Water stained; 85 degrees. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are good on spoons and striper jigs near the dam and the crappie wall in 15-20 feet, and on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are good down rigging spoons with green grubs between the crappie wall and the dam in 15-20 feet, and on crawfish and tilapia along the shoreline. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on nightcrawlers and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
CHOKE CANYON: Water clear; 84 degrees; 8.98' low. Black bass are good on large soft plastic worms and lizards in 12-20 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Drum are good on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on punchbait in 3-10 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch and goldfish.
COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 84 degrees (93 degrees at discharge); 3.63' low. Black bass are fair on soft plastics in 8-12 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows in 12-14 feet. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with liver and live perch in 10-12 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch in 12-16 feet.
FALCON: Water stained; 83 degrees. Black bass are fair on white and chartreuse/white crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. SOUTHEAST
CONROE: Water murky; 1.56' low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and tequila sunrise Carolina rigged soft plastics and Senkos, and on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on live minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are fair on stinkbait, liver, and shrimp.
GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are fair on watermelon/gold and pumpkinseed Carolina rigged soft plastics, and on white spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, nightcrawlers, and frozen shrimp.
HOUSTON COUNTY: Water clear; 84 degrees; 1.05' low. Black bass to 7 pounds are good on pumpkinseed and June bug 11" Zoom worms near the marina in 6 feet, and near the pump station in 12 feet at noon. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows in small coves in 10-12 feet. Bream are good on live worms off piers and grass beds. Channel and blue catfish are fair on perch and large minnows.
LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 84 degrees; 0.34' high. Black bass are good on soft plastics and crankbaits. Striped bass are excellent on Zara spooks and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are good on troll tubes, slabs, and pet spoons. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
SAM RAYBURN: Water murky; 85 degrees; 4.67' low. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms and crankbaits. White bass are good on silver spoons off points. Crappie are good on live minnows. Bream are good on nightcrawlers. Catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait and shrimp.
STEINHAGEN: 1.04' high. No report available.
TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 84 degrees; 3.69' low. Black bass are good on 6" black/blue craw worms and deep diving DD22 crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on spoons. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers in 5-10 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with shrimp and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.
PANHANDLE
GREENBELT: Water stained; 74 degrees; 31.89' low. Black bass are good on white buzzbaits and spinnerbaits, green pumpkin or pumpkin soft plastic worms, and live bait worked along grass lines. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and shad-colored spinnerbaits. Walleye are good on live bait. Catfish are good on cut bait.
MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 77.91' low. Black bass are good on live bait, with some topwater action late in day. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on live bait and silver inline spinners. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait. Walleye are good on live bait. Catfish are good on prepared or live bait.
MEREDITH: Water stained; 76 degrees; 75.77' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits, black/blue jigs and white buzzbaits off main lake rocky points and along grass lines. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits along rocky drop-offs. Walleye are good on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live bait.
PALO DURO: Water lightly stained; 73 degrees; 58.94' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Walleye are fair. Channel catfish are good on live bait.
WEST
ALAN HENRY: Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 1.83' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and black/blue soft plastic ringworms along brush and grass lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on live bait.
ARROWHEAD: Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 6.47' low. Black bass are good on hollow body swim baits and crankbaits suspended 4-8 feet off rocky points. Crappie are fair on jigs suspended 14-16 feet. White bass are good trolling with some surface action early and late in day. Blue Catfish are good drift fishing with cut shad or cheese bait on flats at 12-15 feet deep and on juglines baited with live bait.
COLORADO CITY: Water clear; 76 degrees; 11.42' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.
FT. PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 77 degrees; 5.76' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live bait. Catfish are fair on prepared bait.
HUBBARD CREEK: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 7.24' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits or buzzbaits worked along grass lines, and pumpkinseed soft plastics lures worked along timber and rocks. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrid stripers are good on live bait. Catfish are good on live bait.
NASWORTHY: Water lightly stained; 76 degrees. Black bass are fair on live baits and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Redfish are fair on live bait. White bass and striped bass are fair on live bait. Catfish are fair on cut bait.
OAK CREEK: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 5.12' low. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits and live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on cut liver.
O.H. IVIE: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 19.78' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits, live bait, and 10-inch junebug soft plastic lures worked around timber. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and shad-colored chatterbaits. Channel catfish are good on live or cut bait.
POSSUM KINGDOM: Water stained; 78 degrees; 5.12' low. Black bass are good on 6-inch soft plastics, deep running shad-colored crankbaits, and topwater lures on mid-lake points with 12-18" depths. Crappie are fair on minnows and yellow jigs in Rock Creek area. White bass are good on silver jigging spoons and small crankbaits suspended 12-18" on the south side of Costello Island and the north side of Sand Island early in the day. Stripers to 4-pounds are good on topwater lures, silver spoons and Rat-L-Traps along the Gaines Bend points. Catfish are fair on live shad and cut liver in the north area along the river.
SPENCE: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 61.72' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Striped bass and hybrid striper are slow. Catfish are slow. STAMFORD: Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 3.19' low. Black bass are fair on shad-colored crankbaits, spinnerbaits or live bait along grass and timber lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White and striped bass are good on live bait or shad-colored crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.
SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 7.12' low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait and black/chrome crankbaits. Catfish are fair on live bait.
WHITE RIVER: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 24.20' low. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits, perch-colored crankbaits, or live bait. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are fair on live bait. Channel catfish are fair on live bait.
COASTAL
NORTH SABINE: Redfish are good in the marsh on Stanley Ribbits and weedless soft plastics. Trout are fair to good under slicks and birds on topwaters and soft plastics.
SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Some tarpon have been showing on the beach. Bull redfish are good at the jetty on crabs and table shrimp.
BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout, bull redfish, black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Bull redfish, sharks and tarpon have been taken on the beach near Rollover.
TRINITY BAY: Redfish are good on live bait around the reefs. Redfish are good on the north shoreline on gold spoons and small topwaters. Northwest winds have made fishing open water tough. Redfish are good in the marsh on shrimp.
EAST GALVESTON BAY: Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Redfish are good in the marsh on natural baits and Gulps.
WEST GALVESTON BAY: Tarpon are good along the beachfront. Bull redfish are good in the surf and at San Luis Pass on crabs and mullet. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetties on shrimp and crabs.
TEXAS CITY: Bull redfish are good in the channel on crabs. Sand trout and Gulf trout are good in the channel on shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in Moses Lake on crabs and shrimp.
FREEPORT: Bull redfish are good on live bait and crabs on the Surfside beach. Black drum and redfish are good on the reefs. Spanish mackerel, redfish and jack crevalle are good at the jetties on shrimp.
EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good on the north shoreline for waders tossing Corkies and topwaters. Trout are fair for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair in Lake Austin on shrimp.
WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good on live shrimp and topwaters in Oyster Lake, Crab Lake and Shell Island.
PORT O'CONNOR: Tarpon have been showing on the beachfront. Bull redfish are good in the surf and at the jetty on natural baits. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp and SkitterWalks.
ROCKPORT: Redfish are fair to good on mullet near Traylor Island. Trout are fair around Mud Island and Spaulding Bight on small topwaters and soft plastics under corks. Trout are fair to good at night on DOA Shrimp under lighted piers.
PORT ARANSAS: Bull redfish are good at the jetty on table shrimp and crabs. Tarpon have been showing on the beachfront. Offshore is good for amberjack, kingfish, tuna and dolphin.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Bull redfish are good in the channels on crabs and table shrimp. Redfish are good on the shallow flats on gold spoons and small topwaters. Big reds have shown in the Packery Channel on crabs, mullet and shrimp.
BAFFIN BAY: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and plum plastics around rocks and grass. Redfish are fair to good at Yarborough on gold spoons and topwaters.
PORT MANSFIELD: Tarpon are good on the beach on crabs and jigs. Redfish are good while drifting pot holes on topwaters and soft plastics under a popping cork. Offshore is good for kingfish, ling and dolphin.
SOUTH PADRE: Trout, redfish and snook are fair to good on the flats on DOA Lures and live shrimp under a popping cork. Tarpon and bull redfish are good at the jetty.
PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good while drifting sand and grass flats on live shrimp, DOA Shrimp and Gulps under popping corks. Snook are good on topwaters on the edge of the channel.
