SpringFest Banner new with Tagline

On Saturday, make plans for the sixth annual SpringFest, a music-filled and family-friendly celebration of spring sponsored by the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce.

From 11 a.m.-10 p.m., The Backyard at Bee Cave will host a boat expo, vendor and merchant shopping, a KidZone the size of a football field, a barbecue cook-off and an all new Craft BrewHaus that will feature specialty craft beers from the Hill Country and Austin.

The best part: admission is free.

Live music and performances will be on two different stages throughout the day: the Bluebonnet Stage outside and the Live Oak Stage inside.

The schedule boasts some great names in country music such as the Derailers, Two Tons of Steel and the Camille Sanders Band. Performances from Put Art in Your Heart and TexARTS will keep the kiddos satisfied.

Shop ’til you drop at the local and regional artisan vendor booths and let the kiddos go crazy in the football field sized KidZone with bounce houses, dunk tanks, a zipline, face painting, the Screamin’ Demon, reverse bungee and more. Although SpringFest is a free event, KidZone attractions and rides will require tickets.

The Boat Expo will have the latest and greatest in watercraft with several boat and lake related vendors to satisfy all of your summer-in-Texas needs.

Do you think you have what it takes to be named the Lake Travis Rib King? Apply for the BBQ Cook Off and test your skills in chili, chicken, beans, ribs and even Bloody Marys. If you don’t want to apply for the title of Rib King, you can still stop by and learn a trick or two on how to make some Texas ribs.

New to the fest this year is the Craft BrewHaus. Enjoy tastings from Hill Country and Austin area specialty breweries such as Pedernales Brewing, Independence, Adelbert’s, circle brewing, Infamous and more. Yum.

Tickets will be sold at the BrewHaus for $15 for 10 tastings and a commemorative cup.

SpringFest is free to attend. Parking will be $10.

In the event there is need for overflow parking, you will be directed by parking attendants to overflow parking and a shuttle. Feel free to bring blankets and chairs, but leave the coolers at home.
