Tonight: LL Cooper CD Release at the Continental Club

Even though Larry Cooper is now a fully functioning member of the cult recently discovered thriving on the Hippie Riviera on the north side of Lake Travis, he's still got enough local roots to introduce his new CD Tuscon at the Continental tonight.

Cooper, a veteran of '80s outfits like Under the Sun, has been making music in these parts going on 25 years now. Cooper also partners with Richard Cagle and they've produced and recorded several local acts (Lee Alexander, Kemo for Emo, Carrie Ann Buchanan) the past few years.

Tonight will also be a homecoming for another prodigal son, Tody Castillo, who moved to Austin a few months ago. The former Cactus Music crew member opens the show at 10 p.m.
