Wurstfest: A celebration of sausage and German heritage

It's that time of year again! Wurstfest is coming to New Braunfels October 29th- November 7th. Wurstfest is an annual tradition celebrating German culture with food, special events, and Alpine and Bavarian style entertainment!

What began in 1961 as a one-day affair honoring the most delectable of local foods has grown to a “10 day salute to sausage” enjoyed by close to 150,000 people every year. Families come in droves to enjoy live music and entertainment, carnival-style rides, and food galore!

Best of all, you can feel good about spending a few bucks on that sausage on a stick… Wurstfest is a non-profit corporation designed to promote local commerce, providing an avenue for local civic organizations to raise funds for a wide variety of community projects.
